UV Light Intensity Meter Maintenance and Operation

An UV light intensity meter is simply an instrument for measuring the intensity of UV energy. Although the daily ultraviolet rays can burn or tan our skin. But the role of ultraviolet rays in industry is huge. For example, ultraviolet rays in the UVC band can be used for sterilization, ultraviolet rays in the UVB band can be used to test reptile lamps, plant growth lamps, phototherapy lamps, etc. Ultraviolet rays in the UVA band can be used for curing.

The ultraviolet light source will decay during use, so that the result achieved by the light source during use is not ideal, or defective products appear during curing. So usually we need to use an UV light intensity meter to detect the ultraviolet light source. Below we introduce how to measure UV light by Linshang UV light intensity meter.

1. How to use Linshang LS126C UV light tester?

Linshang LS126C UV light meter is an instrument equipped with Bluetooth function. When in use, you can directly connect the instrument to the mobile phone App and then directly measure the ultraviolet sterilization lamp. The specific method of use is as follows:

1. Step 1: Short press the power button to boot, you can see the SN number of the UV light intensity meter.

2. Step 2: Open the mobile APP and click on the upper right corner to search. "Other available devices" will list all searched device names. Click on the device with the same SN number as the device. The APP will bind this instrument and jump to the measurement interface (the upper right corner of the phone will show successful connection)

3. Step 3: Place the LS126C UV light meter on the one-meter hook, press the measure button. Hang the lamp tube 1 meter below the center of the germicidal lamp tube.

4. Step 4:The tester leaves the measurement site and turns on the germicidal lamp for testing.

5. Step 5: Open the mobile phone APP to monitor the measurement data in real time (within the Bluetooth range of 50 meters). This tester automatically count the maximum, minimum, average value.

2. How to use LS126A UV light tester?

Linshang LS126A UV light meter is an integrated instrument with a host and a probe. This instrument is mainly used for the intensity and energy detection of UV LED light source. The operation method is as follows:

1. Step 1: In the Off state, long press the power button to enter into the setting mode. Press up and down buttons to choose whether to shut down.

2. Step 2: Choose whether to display the energy value, the user can choose according to his needs.

3. Step 3: Select the power supply frequency you need and the unit.

4. Step 4: Put the UV light intensity meter under the measured light source to measure the real-time value of power, the cumulative value of energy, the maximum, minimum, average and measurement duration.

5. Step 5: During the measurement process, you can press the clear button to clear the measured data and perform a new measurement. In the measurement state, short press the power button, the instrument will stop the measurement and save the measurement data.

6. Step 6:The “hold” symbol appears at the bottom of the screen and short press “Up” button to view the historical measurement data. The UV light intensity meter can measure 9 sets of data. "NO.1" to indicate the most recent set of measurement data. In the historical data query interface, long press the clear button to clear the saved data

7. Step 7: Long press the power button to turn off the instrument.

3. How to use LS125 multi-probe UV light meter?

Linshang LS125 multi-probe UV light meter can be equipped with nine probes. The scope of use is relatively wide. We take LS125 host+UVCWP-X1 probe as an example to demonstrate the UV light intensity meter operation, as follows:

1. Step 1: In the Off state, long press the power button to enter into the setting mode. Set the parameters that you need.

2. Step 2: Place the UV light intensity meter under the light source. The real-time value, energy accumulation value, power maximum value, minimum value, average value and measurement duration can be measured respectively.

3. Step 3: The “hold” symbol appears on the screen. After taking away the instrument, the measured data will still remain on the interface.

4. Step 4: Long press the power button to turn off the instrument.

1. Place the UV light intensity meter one meter vertically below from the center of the lamp.

2. Do not look directly at the lamp when the germicidal lamp is lit, you can protect your eyes by wearing glasses. (Short-wave UV does not pass through ordinary glass)

3. Send the UV light intensity meter to the legal measurement verification agency for measurement verification according to ensure the sterilization effect.

1. When the instrument is not in use, long press the “Power” button to turn off the instrument..

2. Store the instrument away from the high humidity environment and it should be avoided to contact from corrosive materials.

3. After the instrument is turned off, it needs to be put in a special packing box for proper storage to avoid contamination of the photosensitive probe.

4. The UV light intensity meter probe is relatively sensitive to humidity changes, so the instrument needs to be kept in a dry environment when the instrument is not used for a long time.

5. When the instrument displays "low battery", a new battery needs to be replaced.

6. The instrument is recommended to be calibrated once a year.
