How to Choose UV Intensity Meter for 254nm Germicidal Lamp?
Ultraviolet sterilization is a new type of pollution-free sterilization method, which is commonly used in hospitals, schools, factories and other public places. The ultraviolet light intensity is a key factor that affects the sterilization effect. Faced with a wide variety of ultraviolet 254nm germicidal lamps on the market, how should we choose a suitable UV intensity meter for 254nm germicidal lamps?
As a professional UV intensity meter manufacturer, we have launched five types of UV intensity meters for detecting 254nm germicidal lamps. According to the types of tested light source, these five UV intensity meters can be divided into two categories, namely LED dedicated and low-pressure mercury lamps dedicated. According to the similarities and differences of the five UV intensity meters, we have sorted out the selection table below and the main features of the five UV dosimeters, hoping to help you choose the most suitable UV intensity meter.

III. FAQ about UV intensity meter
-
1. Can UV intensity meter measure the wavelength of the UVC germicidal lamps?
No. The UV intensity meter is mainly used to detect the irradiation intensity and energy of the UVC germicidal lamp. If you need to detect the wavelength of the germicidal lamp, you need to use a professional spectrometer. We currently do not have this equipment.
-
2. Is there an UV intensity meter that simultaneously detects LED light sources and low-pressure mercury lamps?
The host of LS125 UV intensity meter can intelligently match 9 probes. Users can choose the appropriate probe according to their testing needs. If you have both LED and low-pressure mercury lamp detection requirements, you can purchase the LS125 UV intensity meter host and UVC-X0 and UVCLED-X0 probes for use.
-
3. Can you provide calibration certificate or other traceable report?
The UV intensity meter for the 254nm low-pressure mercury lamp germicidal lamp can ensure that it passes the inspection of the China institute of metrology. (At present, there is no unified standard for LED germicidal lamps, so the LS125 + UVCLED-X0 UV intensity meter cannot provide traceable reports. The data of the instrument is calibrated based on the standard of UV intensity meter supplier.)
