Mobile Phone Lens Light Transmission Meter
How to choose the appropriate lens light transmission meter to measure the infrared and visible light transmittance of the mobile phone IR ink hole? This article will introduce the details to everyone.
1. How the mobile phone lens IR ink hole works?
The infrared light source emitted from the inside of the mobile phone will be reflected back when the ink lens contacts the human skin. When the receiver senses a certain infrared intensity, the screen protection of the touch screen will be turned off and the person will not touch the screen when answering the phone.
2. Why do we use the lens light transmission meter to test the transmittance of the mobile phone IR ink hole?
Light sensors and distance sensors are essential for smartphones. The light sensor can automatically adjust the brightness of the screen, etc. The distance sensor can sense the distance between the phone and the face during the call to automatically close the screen, preventing the face from accidentally touching the screen. The infrared and visible light penetration of these two holes directly affects the performance of the light sensor and distance sensor of the smartphone. At present, the mobile phone industry mainly adopts the mobile phone configuration of Apple and Samsung as the industry standard. The LED light source bands of the two brands of Apple and Samsung are different, namely 940nm and 850nm, respectively, and the visible light band is 550nm.
3.How to detect the light transmittance of mobile phone lens ink?
Shenzhen Linshang Technology Co., Ltd. specially developed two lens light transmission meters - LS108A, LS108D. LS108D lens light transmission meter with infrared 850nm light source, infrared 940nm light source and visible 550nm. This lens light transmission meter is professionally used in the current touch screen smartphone IR ink hole through rate test. One instrument can meet all the needs of customers. The test aperture is 0.5 mm. The LS108A uses a light source that is identical to the LS108D lens transmission meter, but has a test aperture of 1 mm. Next, we tested the IR ink hole of a mobile phone lens with the LS108D lens light transmission meter.
As shown in the figure, the IR ink hole of the mobile phone lens is aligned with the corresponding optical hole and the data can be obtained. The mobile phone lens IR ink hole has a visible light transmittance of 87.1%, an infrared 850 nm transmittance of 81.5% and an infrared 940 nm transmittance of 85.6%. As long as the mobile phone IR hole diameter is greater than 0.5mm, it can be measured. The LS108D lens light transmission meter has two measurement modes: fast and slow. The fast measurement mode is suitable for use on the production line, which facilitates the rapid measurement of the mobile phone IR ink hole testing.
