In the surface coating industry, people who often use surface paint thickness testers know that Chinese instruments have a limitation. If the substrate is too thin, the instrument can’t be used.

Since Linshang paint thickness tester was launched last year, this limitation has finally been broken and domestic surface paint thickness testers can also measure thin substrate materials. This has always been possible with imported instruments. Now we can do it in China. The minimum substrate thickness of Linshang paint thickness tester  is: Fe: 0.2mm / NFe: 0.05mm. As soon as the paint thickness tester is on the market, it has been recognized by the majority of users. Moreover, the instruments with the same excellent performance, the price of imports cost several thousand RMB. Linshang paint thickness tester only cost $118.

The operation of the Linshang surface paint thickness tester is also very simple. There is no tedious and complicated calibration and it can be used immediately after simple zero adjustment.

1. Zero adjustment method of Linshang surface paint thickness tester

Short press the power button to turn on the machine and take out the provided zero adjustment plate ( Fe zero adjustment plate is used when the mateiral is iron-based, if the material is non-ferrous materials, NFe zero adjustment plate is used);

  1. Press the probe vertically on the zeroing adjustment plate and short press the power button.

  2. Press the probe according to the prompts on the screen, then lift it up to 15 cm.

  3. The screen displays 0.0, then the zero adjustment is successful and you can start testing.

Linshang surface paint thickness tester is a dual-purpose instrument for both iron and aluminum, suitable for measuring ferromagnetic materials, such as iron zinc plating, iron copper plating, iron spray paint, iron spray powder coating, etc. It is also suitable for measuring the coating thickness of non-ferromagnetic metal materials, such as anodized aluminum surface.
