The LS238 car paint meter features a split-type probe design, making it particularly suitable for measuring paint thickness in narrow spaces. This instrument not only measures paint thickness on ferrous and aluminum substrates but also intelligently identifies non-metallic, ferrous putty and galvanized iron, providing clear insight into the vehicle's condition. The LS238 utilizes tri-color backlighting and indicator light to display different colors based on the paint thickness, making it easy to grasp. Powered by a rechargeable lithium battery, the LS238 boasts ultra-low power consumption. Furthermore, it is equipped with a coating thickness gauge App, supporting the export and sharing of inspection reports.

The instrument's screen backlight and button indicator lights display three colors corresponding to varying car paint thickness. Paint thickness less than 170μm, white backlight display; paint thickness between 170-350μm, yellow backlight display; paint thickness greater than 350μm or identify ferrous putty, red backlight display.
